once again

WOW I did it again.... went 2 months without updating everyone!!!!! So we are all moved into our new house!!!! We love it the kids are so excited. We went to our first neighborhood function @ trunk or treat at the clubhouse. Kennady had a blast and got tons of candy. The kids got tons of candy on halloween. Kennady went as a dead bride & Derek went as Jason from Friday 13th movies. Nothing really exciting happening now. We are just gearing up for Thanksgiving. Dinner is going to be at our house :-) Christmas is also at our house this year !!!!! So we are getting ready to start decorating the house inside & out :-) Derek has his robotic's competion this weekend so we will be very busy with that. TTFN

New House

OUR HOUSE IS A VERY VERY FINE HOUSE!!!!!!

WOOOHOOOO 4 long months of waiting it is happening!!!! We are moving into our new house!!!! So excited. We are still going to be in Lee's Summit. Just moving out of the townhome and into a 3 bedroom 2.5 bathrooms,finished basement that we are going to make the media / office / family TV room!!! So for the past week or so we have been packing up everything and leaving out what we would need to get us through until we moved. The kids are very excited. The house is in a cul de sac and has a pool a block away which Kennady is super excited about. The kids are very busy wrapping up fall baseball & softball. Kennady is starting Brownies this year. She is very excited because this year we are going on field trips and plan on earning tons of new badges. Derek is getting ready to start up robotics again. He is on a team of 4 and they will build and program thier robot to grab rings and put them on the scoring posts. Last year the killed everyone during the regular competiton rounds. They came in 2nd in the tournament only because the other team blocked thier robot in the corner. They tried to come back and win but fell short by a couple of points.Drew is still working hard at Jackstack Me well after being let go 3 weeks ago still looking for a new job.

Kennady's Vacation Bible School Performance #1

busy little family

OMG so it has been forever but we have been so freakin crazy......

So between softball games & baseball games and work we have hardly been home.... so here is what we have been up too the past month!!!

Kennady's softball team FIREBALLS finished 3rd in the season... so then comes the tournament... she pretty much played every night during that week.... they went undefeated to become TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS!!!!!!! She has improved so much over the course of the season it is amazing... she is playing fall softball also so this is going to be fun!!!!

Derek's team TITANS finished 7th in the season,..... so once again bring on the tournament.... they had a crazy game schedule.... won the first game.... lost the 2nd game..... won the 3rd game then comes the 4th game we lost.... but they played good. So the boys came in 4th in the tournament!!!!! Derek had a rough start to the season but then got a new bat and his slump was gone.... but then it made an ugly return during the tournament.... so now we are gearing up for HOCKEY Season

Drew has been crazy busy at work.... working on the red stocking breakfast and now with the plaza art fair..... I have signed up to be the headroom parent chairperson... alot more work then what i thought but oh well it is fun doing it.... and now some how I got suckered into being the carnival chairperson also.... HOLY CRAP what have I gotten involved in oh yeah its called the PTA!!!!!!

Time to continue packing up the townhome and hopefully in 2 months we will be outta here and into a fabulous new house!!!

WOW I haven't posted in forever ... we have been super busy with Derek's baseball games & Kennady's Softball game <>. Both the kids are super busy with practices and games. Kennady's team is ranked 2nd place for the regular season.They are getting ready to start their tournament. Derek is doing really good in Summer Education also known as summer school :-)

Easter Sunday!!!

WOW we had a drama free family get together :-) Which is always good.... I cooked brunch..Brown Sugar Glazed Ham....Turkey Breast....Cheesy Corn & Baked Beans & Potatoes & rolls... It was really nice my brother & his wife .... My mom & grandma & my son's grandparents from his dad's side all in our town home....Everyone ate a ton and we have still have a ton of food leftover but it is all good because my husband is leaving on monday morning for Washington :-( and since he is the one who does the cooking so for the next week I will be eating leftovers :-)

So starts the busy week baseball pratice on tuesday & saturday...Softball practice on Wednesday & Friday and Girl Scouts on Thursday...The Sunday is Derek's 11th Birthday Party for all his friends from school... We are doing a pool party yes it is indoors.... yes for those that know me know I do crazy things for my kids birthday parties like have 35 kids come over to our house and spend the night 3 weeks after moving into our house :-)

Our First Post :-)

Who would have thunk that we would have a family page....I will try to update this as much as possible with new pictures of the family!! Where to being... Its Easter so we are up early cleaning house and cooking for Family Brunch then its time to hunt Easter Eggs & find our baskets that the easter bunny left for Derek & Kennady. Spring & Summer are going to be very very busy for us. In the past we have spent our summer nights and weekends at Derek's Baseball Games...well we will still be spending summer nights & weekends at the baseball fields watching Derek play...But we will also be spending the nights & weekends watching Kennady play softball... We are so excited that she is playing this year...She is all decked out with her pink glove & pink shoes & pink Bag & her yellow and pink bat....YES She loves PINK.... She is almost done Girl Scouts. This was her first year and she was the 2nd top seller of Girl Scout Cookies in her troop with 275 boxes sold!!! Lucky Me & Drew were the ones that had to deliver them to everyone :-)

Things are going good....Drew is getting ready to leave in the morning for Oak Harbor Washington for his grandmother's funeral :-( He will be gone for about a week or so ....
